SERVPRO of Mankato/Owatonna takes great pride in being a part of the Mankato/Owatonna communities. We want to do our part to ensure the Mankato/Owatonna communities thrives by helping keep the area safe and making our community the best it can be. If we're not busy helping you with your restoration needs you can count on us to be looking for a scholarship or charitable opportunity to donate to. We enjoy helping out multiple organizations, sponsoring teams, benefits and more. if you have a campaign you think would benefit our community please reach out to us. Little Outdoor Adventurers Session 3: 08/10/2020 09:00:00 - 08/13/2020 12:12:00

For youth ages 3-5 who have not attended Kindergarten.  Little Adventurers are those ready to

have new experiences away from mom and dad and are potty-trained. This year we will explore

the park and woods with scavenger hunts, animal discovery in their own habitats, and use what

we find in nature to create different crafts. We meet at the large pavilion at the entrance of

Mineral Springs Park, Monday-Thursday, and any make up days are the Fridays of the same

week. Please be sure to send water bottle daily, as drinking fountains are not turned on. An email will be sent two weeks prior to your camp with more information on events.  Class size is limited to 15 (three pods of participants and one staff) Must supply own crayons, markers, glue and scissors for crafts.  Cost: $43.00

We are the Minnesota Brewery Running Series and we run for beer!

Join us at Chapel Brewing on Sunday, Sept 6 at 11AM for a 5k-ish course that starts and ends at this charming brewery in Dundas, MN. Weave through the surrounding area at whatever pace you like, no matter what there’s a beer waiting for you at the finish line!

What’s included?! All participants receive:

  • FREE craft brew from Chapel Brewing
  • Your choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series
  • Your chance to win sweet door prizes, like Brewery Running Series merchandise or a growler to take home
  • Access to event festivities: live music, food trucks, local vendors, fun with our partners and sponsors, goodies and giveaways
  • And more!

We are all about being active, having fun and giving back to our local community. Since our inaugural event (the Brewery Running Series was founded in Minnesota in 2012), we have been able to donate over $160,000 back to local nonprofits. This event will add to that tally! So not only do you get to a little exercise and enjoy a great beer, you are contributing to our awesome community!

Important details:

  • This is an untimed, 5k-ish fun-run. All levels of walkers, runners and joggers are welcome.
  • This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations.
  • We create each route to start and end at the brewery and to show off the surrounding neighborhood. We will have volunteers along the way to help you know where to go
  • You must bring a valid ID or driver's license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the event, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. (Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage)
  • Our events are rain or shine! If conditions become unsafe to run, we will still hang out and drink beer!
  • There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly and dress appropriately for the weather.
  • The fun-run starts at 11AM. Plan to arrive about 30 minutes prior to check-in and check out our partners, sponsors and pre-run activities. Don’t forget some extra $$$. In addition to your FREE beer and swag there will be merchandise for sale, food trucks, and plenty more beer!
  • There is public parking available. Is public transit an option for you? Check and see if there’s an accessible route nearby. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers.
