I recently experienced a house fire and the damage was extensive in my laundry room and attached garage. Ken had a crew out to my place very quickly and they had the damage cleaned up in one day. I was very impressed for it allowed me to get back into my town home and get back to my normal life. 

Vista Prairie at Garnette Gardens experienced a water main break in the early morning hours, effectively flooding our main floor with 3-4 inches of water.  I called SERVPRO from Mankato and within an hour they were in communication with me and sending a team to our building.  I could not have been more impressed with the level of communication we received at every step of the way.  The team members that were on sight were polite and thoughtful of our needs of our community, a Senior Living Community.  They showed the utmost level of professionalism and in the long run because of their fast acting efforts we were spare a huge expense in repairs due to water damage.  I would recommend SERVPRO of Mankato to anyone, we were extremely pleased with their work.

I was tasked with a project at work that involved finding and stopping a 12 year old roof leak. Several offices were seeing leaks and one even had water pooling on the floor. 

I reached out to SERVPRO to come in and take a look for mold and water damage. 

Ken made it to the site pretty quickly to do an initial assessment. 

After getting the project approved Ken and his guys fit me in even during a very rainy and stormy season. 

They did a great job not creating more work to rebuild by only demoing what needed to be. 

They kept the work areas clean and bagged everything they demoed. 

Kens communication on timing and scheduling was great, and it helped me keep the affected employees up to speed on progress throughout the project. 

I will definitely be calling Ken the next time I need this type of services!

I wanted to send a massive “thank you” to you and your team for helping our family out. 

On July 3rd, 2018, we had over 8 inches of rain fall in our area in just a few hours.  The excessive amount of rain caused our sump pump to fail and as a result, we had two inches of water in our finished basement.  Once we  discovered the damage, we made a phone call to another mitigation company and never received a call back.  Later that afternoon, we reached out to SERVPRO and within 25 minutes, Ken was calling me back to set up a time to be at our house early the next day (July 4th). 

Ken and his crew had to navigate through many closed roads due to water running over them, but eventually he was able to make it to our house.  Immediately they went to work to start the drying process.  Prior to SERVPRO showing up, we had already removed all of the carpet and furniture, so Ken started started bringing in fans, humidifiers, and tools.  Within a couple of hours, he had all our drywall cut and insulation removed from the outer walls. The drying process was started not even 24 hours after the initial phone call. 

Throughout the next few days, Ken and crew returned a few times to make sure that everything was drying properly in order to ensure that we weren’t going to have any mold issues later on.  The communication that we experienced from this SERVPRO group was second to none.  Within a few days, our house was completely dried out and ready to be put back together.   We were extremely happy with the results and services that Ken and his team produced. We would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

The job is complete and the SERVPRO crew did their job.  I was at my mother-in-laws home in Cross Plains Tuesday through Sunday of last week and was able to observe the SERVPRO crew.  The two SERVPRO employees, Logan and Scott, were very cordial, helpful and efficient throughout the cleanup process.  


To whom it may concer, I recently had Logan and Scott working to restore my basement. The basement was a terrible mess due to flooding from the Black Earth Creek. Also I had my basement filled with way too many items, but they were willing to do the job. Logan and Scott did a wonderful job of carrying all those items up a flight of stairs. They worked tirelessly to clean and disinfect all the furniture and numerous items. The job was quite a task but they worked hard and now I have a clean basement. And all the items were put back in the basement. I certainly appreciated their dedication! I would recommend them to anyone needing a job well done. Also they were pleasant and respectful.

I live in Des Moines Iowa and our rental property was flooded by a nearby creek.  We have never been through anything like this and really didn't know what to do or who to call.  First thing in the morning I started calling companies from the Yellow pages to get the water cleaned up and drying out process started as soon as possible.  I soon learned that when this sort of disaster happens in an area, everyone is doing the same thing and you end up on a list to wait for a call back.  Companies only have so much equipment to go around and you have to wait your turn, which can be several days to weeks.   I received a call back from Ken Green the owner of Mankato SERVPRO within a day and he met with me right away.  He was so helpful and explained everything to me about the process and what to expect.  He had his team and equipment in the home within a few days, and they checked daily on the dry out progress.  I asked Ken why he would be calling on flood victims in Des Moines when his business is in Minnesota, his reply was that he want's to help people and he was there helping with other franchises.  I did not receive any calls from any of the other companies, even days after our job was finished.  I am grateful that Ken called and that his team did a great job.  It is nice to know that there are business owners who care and want to help people when disaster strikes. Thank you Ken.

I called SERVPRO because my basement flooded.  I was a mess as I had just installed new carpet!  They were so polite and so helpful and were very quick to respond!  They came out and were very knowledgeable and actually informed me that the problem was my sump pump!  They were very professional, even dressed professional!  There equipment was clean and they even wore protective wear on their feet which was very important as like I said my carpet was new!  They got my basement all dried and cleaned up and to my surprise there isn’t even any smell!  Hands down the best company I have ever dealt with, I will definitely be referring them and calling them again if I ever need!  Thanks again Ken for all your help, I really appreciate it!

We engaged them to clean up our basement after a sewer backup. Despite being swamped (we were just one of dozens of flooded homes) Ken got a crew out to us promptly to start the cleanup. We never had problems getting in touch with him and he was always aware of where his crews were at and when they'd be able to get to us.
After the first crew cleaned and dried Ken personally inspected the work and was not satisfied with the level of cleanliness, so he had another crew clean it again at no extra charge. Hopefully we'll never have a need to use them again, but if we do have water damage in the future they'll be our first call.

We got 8 inches of sewer backup in our basement on Sunday night. Monday tried to carry up our things from the basement but soon realized it wouldnt work (I had my foot in a cast).
